Hello! I'm Hazunyan, a cosplayer from Southern Luzon, Philippines, I've been a cosplayer since my last year in highschool up to date. I recently made an account for cosplay and have been posting some of my works there from time to time. I work fulltime in the academe and part time in the media and broadcasting sector so I'm not that active in posting cosplay photo's regularly. I'm not good with self-intoductions so if you have more specific questions about me, shoot away! I hope to become friends with you. Cosplay is an art and form of expression. It's an avenue for me to convey my passion for japanese culture an showcase my creativity in terms of crafting and character portrayal. It also serves as my temporary escape from the realities of the world. Cosplay contributes to my personal growth in various aspects. Though primarily, cosplay enables a person to become their favorite character both physically ang internally - - -ironically, I gained confidence and a sense of through cosplay. I've always been a fan of anime since elementary school but I never had the thought to dress up as my favorite character. Not until there was this cosplay event that was hosted by a university here in my locale way back when I was in highschool. It was my first time to see all sorts of Japanese culture enthusiast that cosplayed their favorite anime/ game/ manga character. I had the thought like "Oh so you can dress up and perform like you favorite characters and that called 'cosplay'?" After a few months, I decided to give cosplay a try. It was my first time to ask my parents that I wanted to do something for myself, too luckily, they gave their support. My cosplays are all my favorite characters. But if I were to choose the top 3, that would be Rory Mercury (G.A.T.E), Star Guardian Janna (LoL), and LIsa Minci (Genshin Impact). My dream cosplay has always been Raynesia's Valkyrie outfit and One Piece characters. My top five favorite anime series are: 1. One Piece 2. KHR 3. Haikyuu 4. Nichijou 5. Fruits Basket My future cosplans are Genshin Impact and One Piece characters. Tomia, SeeU, Hakken, and Knitemaya! I love how they make their cosplays. Their character portrayals are always on point seeing their cosplays makes me motivated to do better. Of course, I feel happy and fulfilled! After we invested a lot of time, effort, and resources for cosplay, then seeing the outcome make me feel that all our efforts paid off! I am very much thankful and beyond blessed most especially that I am not alone in every cosplay that I do. Alongside with me are several good hearted people whp are willing to support me in different ways. Those who cheer me up, provide resource materials, and of course, the talented production team behind the scenes. They are the one who makes this hobby worthwhile for me. I don't think that cosplay is a waste of money. If you're happy with what you do, you wouldn't even think about money in the first place. If you worry about cosplay being to costly, you can always be resourceful and creative to look for alternative that would suit your budget. Cosplay doesn't have to be expensive. Additionally, it's also a great avenue to have your skills in crafting, sewing, wig styling make up, studio setups, photography, and even post processing among others! If you want to start cosplay but is hesitant about doing it, just do it. Don't be afraid to start small. Take your time tom learn. Celebrate your progress and continue to grow with good people in your circle. There maybe setbacks and frustrations along the way but that's okay. You'll be okay. Just enjoy the process, be kind, support one another, humble yourself, and always leave room for continous improvement.
